  3. TNM  T1, N0, M0 
  4. The tumor is less than 5 cm (2 in.) and does not invade other tissues.

  6. Standard Treatment  Complete surgical removal of the tumor.
  7.  
  8. Five-Year Survival  50 to 60 percent 
  9.  
  10. Investigational 
  11. ‚Ä¢ Adjuvant radiation therapy . 
  12. ‚Ä¢ Adjuvant chemotherapy with mitotane.
  13.  
  14. Stage II 
  15. TNM T2, N0, M0 
  16. The tumor is larger than 5 cm (2 in.) but is stil1 not invasive.
  17.  
  18. Standard Treatment  Complete surgical removal, similar to Stage I.
